This a low calorie synthetic sweetener and is about 200-times more sweet than sugar. Aspartame (or Nutria sweet in India) is believed to be a carcinogen. In other words, it doesn't find the genetic engineering process of manufacturing aspartame safe for the Americans!! Look at the wrapper on a Coca -Cola 1.5 litre pet bottle and in ingredients, you will find phosphoric acid in it. Minute quantities of ethylene glycol is also used (which is acknowledged in the soft drink world for making it "really chill"). This is popularly known as antifreeze which prevents water from freezing at 0 deg C and instead drops it by 4-5 degrees with minute quantities. This chemicals is a known slow poison in the calibre of arsenic. So, if you manage to drink about 4 litres coke with =in an hour or so, you can die. In this [article] you will see that all cancers are alike. They are all caused by a parasite. A single parasite ! It is the human intestinal fluke. And if you kill this parasite, the cancer stops immediately. The tissue becomes normal again. In order to get cancer, you must have this parasite. How can the human intestinal fluke cause cancer? This parasite typically lives in the intestine where it might do little harm, causing only colitis, Crohn's disease or irritable bowel syndrome, or perhaps nothing at all. But if it invades a different organ, like the uterus or kidneys or liver, it does a great deal of harm. If it establishes itself in the liver, it causes cancer! It only establishes itself in the liver, it causes cancer! It only establishes itself in the liver in some people. These people have propyl alcohol2 in their bodies. All cancer patients (100 per cent) have both propyl alcohol and the intestinal fluke in their livers. The solvent propyl alcohol is responsible for letting the fluke establish itself in the liver. In order to get cancer, you must have both the parasite and propyl alcohol in your body. FLUKES AND CANCER To understand cancer you should understand the basic facts about the human intestinal fluke. Its scientific name is Fasciolopsis buskii. Fluke means "flat", and flukes are one of the families of flatworms. It is as flat as a leaf. The parasite is not unknown: it has been studied since at least 1925.3 This parasite has stages that it must go through to keep reproducing. The first stage is the egg. The adult produces millions of eggs. They pass out of us with the bowel movement. The adult, though, stays tightly stuck to our intestine or liver, causing cancer; or uterus, causing endometriosis; or thymus, causing AIDS; or kidney, causing Hodgkin's disease. Most of us get little lesions in our intestines from time to time. These tiny sores allow the eggs, which are microscopic in size, to be pulled into the bloodstream (other parasite eggs get into the blood this way, too). Some of these eggs actually hatch in the intestine or in the blood. The microscopic hatchlings are called miracidiae and are the second stage. They swim about with their little swimmer-hairs. And, of course, the liver whose job it is to dispose of toxins, will receive these and kill them as the blood arrives from the intestine. They have no chance to survive in normal people. FLUKES AND PROPYL ALCOHOL But something special happens to people who have propyl alcohol in their bodies. The liver is unable to trap and kill these tiny fluke stages. These baby stages are actually allowed to make their home in the liver and other tissues. It is an if the immune system has no power to kill them. The flukes begin to multiply in people with propyl alcohol in their bodies! The miracidiae (hatchlings) start to make little balls inside themselves, called rediae. But each redia (ball) is alive! It pops itself out of the miracidia and begins to reproduce itself. Forty rediae can each make 40 more rediae! And all of this out of one egg! This parasite is laying eggs and producing millions of rediae right in your body-in your cervix or lungs, wherever your cancer os growing. These rediae are swept along in your blood, landing in whatever tissue lets them in. Smokers' lungs, breasts with benign lumps, prostate glands full of heavy metals, are examples of tissues that give the rediae their landing permits. Multiplying continues at a hectic pace, generation after generation. Rediae are nesting in the liver and other organs. Suddenly they change their shape. They sprout a tail and can swim again. Now they are called cercariae. The cercariae only need to find a place to attach. After they glue themselves to your tissue, their tails disappear and they begin to grow a 'cocoon'. Now they are called metacercariae. Normally, this would happen on a leaf growing near a pond, so the metacercariae develop an extremely thick shell around themselves to withstand the winter. Does the presence of the solvent propyl alcohol in your body dissolve this tough shell? That would remove the last barrier to the fluke completing its entire life cycle anywhere in your body! After the shell is gone, they grow into adult flukes in your tissue-not in the intestine, but in your liver! Now the cycle is complete. From egg to miracidia to redia to cercaria to metacercaria and then to the adult stage-all of them eating, sucking and devouring your vital body fluids. But this is not normal for flukes. As if these parasites were not fiendish enough, as soon as there are adults in the liver something new happens. A growth factor, called orthophosphotyrosine, appears.' A monster has been born! Growth factors make cells divide. Now your cells will begin to divide too! Now you have cancer. THE BEGINNING OF CANCER The presence of orthophosphotyosine is the beginning of your cancer. Unless you act quickly to kill this parasite-spawning machine, it will take over your body. But first, let's sit back and think for a minute. Why is this parasite multiplying feverishly in your organs instead of living quietly in your intestine? Because having propyl alcohol in your body allows its development outside of the intestine. A parasite is simply doing what all living things must do: survive and reproduce. It is not the fiendish nature of this parasite that has given you cancer. It is not the tragic pollution of your body with propyl alcohol that is at fault. And of course, there is also the infestation of our food animals and household pets with fluke parasites. It is quite possible that the rediae or cercariae produce the orthophosphotyrosine in order to help themselves divide while reproducing. Or perhaps they induce your body to make (I have preliminary evidence that epidermal growth factor, EGF, is also produced somehow). These growth stimulants are not intended to make your cells multiply at all. Normally the parasite stages are developing in a pond full of snails! This parasite wasn't meant to go through its life cycle in our bodies. But since our bodies respond to orthophosphotyrosine (and EGF) the same way, our cells are forced to multiply and multiply multiply along with the fluke stages. PURGE THE PARASITE, CURE THE CANCER The good news is that when the fluke and all its stages have been killed, the orthophosphotyrosine disappears. In 24 hours, all orthophosphotyrosine is gone! So, why do the microscopic fluke stages choose the cervix or prostate or lung in which to settle for reproduction? Perhaps it is because the cancerous organ has lost its immune power for you, so that it cannot catch and kill the tiny invaders. After all, there is propyl alcohol in the cancerous tissue, and many other toxins as well. Heavy metals such as mercury and barium are there. Lanthanide metals like yttrium and hafnium are there. Common toxins like arsenic and radon are there. PCBs are there. Is it just a coincidence that the parasite servives and reproduces itself best in your most unhealthy organs? Clearly, you must do three things: 1) Kill the parasite and all its stages. 2) Stop letting propyl alcohol into your body. 3) Flush out the metals and common toxins from your body so you can get well. PARASITE REMEDIES The Native American peoples knew that humans are parasitised. Other native peoples from the Arctic to Antarctic knew that we are parasitised like other animals. They had frequent purgings that included diarrhoea or vomiting to rid themselves of their slimy invaders. Many cultures continued such practices right up to my own childhood. I remember being forced to swallow a spoonful of sulphur and molasses and raw onion ! How dreadful it seemed. But it reduced the body's burden of worms and other parasites that we all have. Where have wee gone astray? Why have we forsaken these wise practices? I have seen that eczema is due to roundworms. Seizures are caused by a single roundworm, Ascaris, getting into the brain. Schizophrenia and depression are caused by parasites in the brain. Asthma is caused by Ascaris in the lungs. Diabetes is caused by the pancreatic fluke of cattle, Eurylrema. Migraines are caused by the threadworm, Strongyloides. Acne rosacea is caused by a Leishmania. Much human heart disease is caused by dog heartworm, Dirofilaria. And the list goes on. Getting rid of all these parasites would be absolutely impossible using clinical medicines that can kill only one or two parasites each. Such medicines also tend to make you quite ill. FlagylTM is used for amoebas and Giardia; when the correct dosage is used, it can cause extreme nausea and vomiting. Quinine for malaria is quite toxic. Imagine taking 10 such drugs to kill a dozen of your parasites! Good news, perhaps, for the drug-makers but not for you. Yet three herbs can rid you of over 100 types of parasites! And without so much as a headache! Without nausea! Without any interference with any drug that you are already on! Does this sound too fantastic? Just to good to be true? They are nature's gift to us. The herbs are: black walnut hulls (from the black walnut tree), wormwood (from the Artemesia shrub), and common cloves (from the clove tree). These three herbs must be used together. Black walnut hull and wormwood kill adults and developmental stages of at least 100 parasites. Cloves kill the eggs. Only if you use them together will you rid yourself of parasites. If you kill only the adults, the tiny stages and eggs will soon grow into new adults. If you kill only the eggs, the million stages already loose in your body will soon grow into adults and make more eggs. They must be used together as a single treatment. It is the green hull surrounding the nut of the black walnut tree that has this miraculous parasiticide. After it has turned black, it is useless. The large green balls fall to the ground early in the fall; in an week or two they must are black and decaying Therefore, anyone wishing to make parasiticide must be careful not to let the critical time for harvesting pass. I encourage everyone to make their own parasiticides and to take back the responsibility for keeping themselves and their families free of these tiny monsters. Note that it is a tincture (extracted using grain alcohol), not an ordinary extract (which uses water). The black walnut extract that is available from herb companies is not potent as a parasiticide. It is black, not pale green, indicating that the critical harvesting time has passed. Of course there is no time to make your own if you have fast-growing or metastasising cancer. You will only need one 1-ounce bottle. While you are waiting for it to arrive, get tour other two herbs ready: wormwood and cloves. Wormwood consists of the leaves of the Artemesia shrub. My recommendation is that you grow it yourself if you have any space to do so. The amount you need to cure a cancer is very small, yet you cannot do without it. But the FDA [US Food and Drug Administration] has regulated it as toxic! It is therefore unavailable in concentrated form from herb companies. The evidence for toxicity accepted by the FDA must have been hearsay. I have never seen a case of toxicity, not so much as a headache or nausea.6 The toxic level must be much higher than is needed to kill these parasites. This shrub is called wormwood for good reason: it kills worms! There is quite a bit of confusion over which Artemesia is the true wormwood. Books and nurseries can be wrong, even though they assure you they are correct! Buy Artemesia absynthium for your garden. If you grow your own, dry the leaves when they are in their prime. The leaves are greenish silvery grey and quite biter. Nobody would accidentally eat too much of them. For a child, roll up a single leaf and put it into a capsule or shred it and stir into honey. Wormwood capsules are available as a combination of Artemesia, the male fern Quassia, black walnut leaves and cloves. This small amount of Artemesia is legal. You will need one bottle of 80 Wormwood Combination capsules to cure your cancer, and another bottle to kill your remaining parasites. The third herb necessary to cure cancer is cloves. This is the common spice used in banking. It needs to be ground up in order to release its parasite-killing properties. You can by a can of whole cloves and grind them in a blender or grinder. Store-bought ground cloves do work! Their parasite -killing properties have evaporated long ago. Ground cloves from a health food store or herb shop may not work either! They may have been ground years ago. Don't take a chance; grind your own . Remember, the responsibility of the cloves is to kill eggs. Nothing else known can kill eggs of parasites within the body!' If a herb company were to grind cloves and fill capsules with them right away and store the capsules in closed bottles, the potency of the herb would be protected. Don't take these details for granted. You must question your source and get a satisfactory answer or grind your own. You will need about 100 capsules of cloves. To make your, purchase size 00 (double-zero) capsules at a health food store. (Don't try to mix cloves straight in water; they are much too strong. You may try mixing with apple sauce or buttermilk.) Size 0 capsules will also be acceptable. You now have: One 30 cc bottle of pale green Black Walnut Hull Tincture, or one ounce. Two bottles of 80 Wormwood Combination capsules, or 1/2 cup of Artemesia leaves gathered from a friendly neighbour's shrub. One bottle of 100 capsules of freshly- ground Cloves, or 1/3 cup bulk. These are the only essential items you will need to cure your cancer. But there are the only essential items, ornithine and arginine, that improve this recipe. Parasites produce a great deal of ammonia as their waste product. Ammonia is their equivalent of urine and it is set free in our bodies by parasites in large amounts. Ammonia is very toxic, especially to the brain I believe this causes insomnia and other sleep problems at night and anxiety by day. By taking ornithine at bedtime, you will sleep better.9 Arginine has similar ammonia-reduction effects but must be taken in the morning because it gives alertness and energy. Do not try to substitute drugs for herbs. Drug parasiticides can be extremely toxic, even in the small doses needed. Nor do they kill all the stages. PREVENTING REINFECTION It only takes five days on the three herbs together to kill the intestinal fluke adults, eggs, miracidiae, rediae, cercariae and metacercariae. The parasite-killing program continues, though, to a peak at three weeks, followed by a fairly high dose for another two months, in order to rid your body of most other parasites. After this, a maintenance program is followed in order to kill any new parasite that you pick up. You can see from the case histories that this recipe fails to kill a few diehard parasites like tapewarm scolex (head) and tapeworm cysticercoids (cysts). If the parasite program always makes you feel better, and discontinuing it brings your symptoms back, you probably have what I call "tapeworm disease". I have seen that tapeworm cysts 'hatch' every time you get a dose of solvents in foods or products. This spews infertile eggs all over your body, making you feel sick. You are always picking up parasites! Parasites are everywhere around you! You get them from other people, your family, yourself, your home, your pet, and undercooked meat. I believe the main source of the intestinal fluke is undercooked meat. After we are infected with it this way, we can give it to each other through blood, saliva, semen, and breast milk which means through kissing on the mouth, sex, nursing, and child-bearing. Stay on a parasite-killing maintenance program. Give yourself a highdose program twice a year. Family members nearly always have the same parasites. If one person develops cancer, the others probably have the intestinal fluke also. They should give themselves the same de-parasitising program. PARASITES GONE, PROPYL ALCOHOL NEXT Now that you have killed the intestinal fluke and cured your cancer, what's next? Two tasks remain: Stop getting propyl alcohol into your body; Get rid of the heavy metals and common toxins in your body, diet and home. This will heal the damaged tissues. Propyl alcohol is the antiseptic commonly used in cosmetics. Checks all your cosmetics for the word "propanol" on the label. It is usually put on the label, since it is not currently suspected of causing cancer.10 I don't know if propyl compounds like propamide, propacetamide, propyl gallate or calcium propionate could be converted by the body to propyl alcohol, so don't take chances. Do not use any thing that has "prop" in the list of ingredients. Don't give your discarded cosmetics to anybody. Don't save them. Don't have them in the house anywhere. Throw them out. Remember, 100 per cent of cancer patients have the solvent propyl alcohol accumulated in the liver and in their cancerous tissues. People without cancer do not have propyl alcohol in their livers. Look at the case histories. Often one spouse has caner; you can note that she or he has propyl alcohol and the adult fluke in the liver. Orthophosphotyrosine is present in an organ like the lung where the cancer is developing. But the other spouse does not have cancer although he or she shares the parasite. For him or her it is only in the intestine. There are no eggs or other stages anywhere. There is no solvent present. Here is a list of common body products that may have propyl alcohol in them: cosmetics, shampoo, hair spray, mouthwash, mousse, body lotions, shaving supplies and, of course, rubbing alcohol. If in doubt, throw it out! ACTION OF SOLVENTS IN THE BODY The intestinal fluke can reproduce itself from beginning to end inside your body (not needing a snail), if you have solvent in your body. There are many solvents around us. If the solvent is propyl alcohol, which accumulates in the liver, new adults develop in the liver and cancer begins. Orthophosphotyrosine, the growth factor which makes cells divide, is produced. The adult is in the liver but the growth factor is far away in the organs that have propyl alcohol and fluke stages in them. They reproduce by the thousands and your organ cells are forced to reproduce along with them. This is cancer. Propyl alcohol is not detoxified by the liver but, instead, accumulates, possibly because of aflatoxin B, found in mouldy food. The liver succeeds in getting rid of some of the propyl alcohol by dumping it through the bile ducts into the intestine. It leaves with the bowel movement. But in the intestine the alcohol encounters millions of fluke eggs. Since propyl alcohol is a solvent, I think it dissolves the shells of the eggs and lets them all hatch! Right inside you! The tiny baby stages (miracidiae) then get into your blood and travel everywhere in your body! They land, become rediae, and reproduce into thousands more! They finally turn into cercariae, metacercariae, and finally, adults. Adult flukes in your liver, if you have propyl alcohol in it, help cause cancer. Adult flukes in your pancreas, if you have wood alcohol in it, help cause diabetes. Adult flukes in your thymus, if you have benzene in it, help cause HIV disease. Adult flukes in your brain, if you have toluene or xylene in it, help cause Alzheimer's disease. Adult flukes in your kidneys help cause Hodgkin's disease; in your uterus, endometriosis; in your prostate, chronic prostatitis-if you have other solvent there. Adult flukes in your skin help cause Kaposi's sarcoma. PROCEDURE FOR CURE Start by taking ornithine, two at bedtime on the first night you get it. You don't need to wait for the rest of the program to start on ornithine. Take four ornithines on the second night. Take six ornithines at bedtime on the third night. After this take four or six ornithines at bedtime every night until you are sleeping soundly. Then go off ornithine and see whether your sleep is as good without it. Use as needed. It is not habit-forming. Taking ornithine at bedtime may give you so much energy the next day that you don't need to take arginine in the morning. But if going off caffeine (recommended) has you dragging yourself through the morning, take one arginine upon rising and another one before lunch and supper. It can make you a bit irritable. Cut back if this happens. Ornithine and arginine, each about 500 mg, are available in capsule from in separate bottles. To summarise, what you'll need for killing the intestinal fluke which brings with it the HIV virus, in the first five days, followed by the remaining parasites in another two weeks, are: Black Walnut Hull Tincture, an alcohol extract if the green hull (for alcoholics, a water recipe is available). Wormwood Combination, In capsules. Cloves, freshly ground, together with size 00 empty capsules. Ornithine, 500 mg. Arginine, 500 mg. RascalTM (start this after three weeks ). Take as directed on lable. There are no side-effects, as you can see from the case histories included in my book. There is no interference with any other medication. There is no need to stop any treatment that a clinical doctor or alternative therapist has started you on. Don't wait to begin until you have all six items. Start as soon as you get each item. Are there any substitutes for the Black Walnut Hull Tincture and Wormwood Combination? The answer to this question is "not yet". I have nit worked out any substitutes, although they must exist. I believe there must be dozens of plants that could kill the intestinal fluke. What is just as important is not picking them up again. RECIPE INSTRUCTIONS 1. Black Walnut Hull Tincture Day 1: This is the day you begin; start the same day you receive it. Take 1 drop, 4 times. Put it in a beverage like warm juice, milk or water. A warm liquid evaporates the alcohol. The timing does not matter. The drops can be one hour apart if you start at 6.00 pm. They can be four hours apart if you start in the morning. Take them before meals or on an empty stomach. Day 2: Take 2 drops, 4 times as above. Day 3: Take 3 drops, 4 times. Day 4: Take 4 drops, 4 times. Continue increasing in this way until you have taken 20 drops, 4 times. After this, continue taking 20 drops once a day for three months. If you get interrupted, don't start over; just continue. The flukes will be dead by Day5! Don't get interrupted before Day 6. After three months, switch to the Maintenance Parasite Program. 2. Wormwood Combination capsules Day 1: Take 1 capsule before supper (with water). Day 2: Take 2 capsules before supper. Day 3: Take 3 capsules before supper. Continue increasing in this way to Day 14. You take the capsules all in a single dose (you may take a few at a time until they are all gone). Then you do two more days of 14 capsules each. After this, you take 14 capsules twice a week, such as on Monday and Thursday, forever, as it states in the Maintenance Parasite Program. Try not to get interrupted before the sixth day, so you know the intestinal flukes are dead. After this, you may processed more slowly if you wish. Many persons with sensitive stomachs prefer to stay two days on each dose instead of increasing every day. You may choose the pace after the sixth day. 3. Cloves Fill size-00 capsules with ground cloves. If these are not available, use size 0 or 000. In a pinch, buy gelatin capsules and empty them or empty other vitamincapsules. Day 1: Take 1 capsule, 3 times a day before meals. Day 2: Take 2 capsules, 3 times a day. Day 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10 : Take 3 capsules, 3 times a day. After day 10, take 3 capsules once a day for three months. Then take 3 capsules twice a week forever, as in the Maintenance Parasite Program. Urine Therapy - A Natural Alternative

Trembling and weak, I pushed myself up out of bed and felt a horrible, wrenching pain tear through my abdomen.

My worried mother came running in answer to my screams, but, after assessing the situation, said there really wasn't much she could do about the pain of my first menstrual period. But what either she nor I knew at the time was that what should have been a natural transition to adolescence and menstruating was, for me, going to become a waking nightmare that lasted almost 30 years.

At the onset of each one of my monthly menstrual periods I would invariably end up either in my doctor's office or at the emergency room of the hospital, screaming with pain, bleeding copiously and passing huge clots of blood.

For several months after my 'periods from hell' began, my mother chauffeured me around the city from doctor to doctor with no success, until our family doctor finally instituted a monthly regimen of painkillers such as Demerol or Darvon injections and then sent me home with a big, round bottle of full-strength prescription codeine, with which I proceeded to dope myself senseless for the next eight to 10 days. This same cycle was repeated every month for almost 20 years.

Throughout adolescence, the simple everyday functions of getting up and going to school were an often monumental and utterly exhausting effort for me. Unlike the rest of my family and friends, I had marked periods of exhaustion. I become extremely susceptible to colds and flu and felt bone-chillingly cold all the time-even in the warmest summer weather.

By the age of 14, the effort of combating severe chronic pain and fatigue while trying to keep up normal activities become impossible. I collapsed and had to be hospitalised and removed from school for several months. But even after a huge battery of medical tests and innumerable visits with doctors and specialists, no one was able to diagnose what was causing my problems.

After many weeks I returned to school and struggled through the highschool years with the aid of generous amounts of codeine and other strong painkillers that my doctor willingly prescribed. But by the time I left home for college, the symptoms of bleeding, exhaustion, pain and digestive problems became so had that I often was unable even to leave my room or take part in daily activities.

I kept up the Demerol injections and codeine for many years and added to my regimen several other new painkillers and drugs which had been developed for menstrual problems. But the problems continued unabated, and in the ensuing years I developed myriad other serious health problems.

During the years from age 18 to 30, I was diagnosed with pelvic inflammatory disease, ulcerative colitis, Crohn's disease or ileitis (a chronic, painful inflammation of the colon), chronic fatigue syndrome (CFS), Hashimoto's disease ( a disorder of the thyroid gland) and mononucleosis.

I had severe chronic kidney infections, two miscarriages, chronic cystitis, severe candida and external yeast infections along with marked adrenal insufficiency and serious chronic ear and sinus infections for which I was prescribed antibiotics on an ongoing basis for several years. Food and chemical allergies also became a big problem, and even though I ate almost nothing because of my extreme food allergies, I actually kept gaining weight, which only added to the discomfort of all the other health disorders with which I was dealing.

The bottles of drugs I had taken during this time could have filled a small landfill, but none of my illnesses or disorders had been resolved and, in fact, they were more debilitating than ever. It seemed as though I had become nothing more than a walking encyclopaedia of disease, and the worst part about the entire situation was that no matter how many failed drug therapies I tried, any visit to the doctor's office only resulted in another discouraging failure.

Another big problem was the drug side-effects. I felt like a ping-pong ball, bouncing from one to another as my doctors kept prescribing more and different drugs to counteract the side-effects of the ones I was already taking.

By the time I turned 30, the natural health movement was really picking up speed, and, desperate for any solution, I tired out the Adelle Davis nutrition regimen, megavitamin therapy, acupuncture, chiropractic care and every herbal preparation and drug-free natural health therapy that I could find. Within two years, my chronic cystitis cleared up and the menstrual pain and bleeding markedly decreased. The ulcerative colitis also responded and the sinus infections disappeared. I felt that I was slowly and surely regaining strength and health and even beginning to experience a portion of the energy and vigour that 'normal' healthy people enjoy-and all without drugs.

When I conceived my son at 34 and made it through the first trimester without miscarrying, I felt as though I'd conquered the final health frontier. Unfortunately, in my burst of enthusiasm, I underestimated the impact of pregnancy on my understandably frail health, and the birth for which I had so carefully prepared was a near-fatal disaster requiring emergency surgery.

As it turned out, even despite all the illness and pain I'd gone through in the years before the birth, all of it seemed like child's play after I ran headon into the serious complications of a difficult childbirth.

For months after the birth I hounded my gynaecologist, complaining of unremitting and sever abdominal cramps, cystitis and horribly painful menstrual periods. My natural health treatments would give temporary relief but, mystifyingly, didn't seem to have the same beneficial and lasting effects that they'd had before my pregnancy.

I underwent every conceivable medical test, each of which came back negative, but the problems just didn't go away. My doctor flinched every time I walked in the door and then sent me back out again with increasingly severe assurances that the pain was "unwarranted' and probably all in my head.

After alienating every doctor in town with my complaints, I finally gave up and decided the birth, I suddenly fell screaming with pain on my living room floor in front of my terrified two-years-old. I literally had to crawl to the phone to call my husband. When he carried me, screeching, into my OB's office, the doctor clicked his tongue disapprovingly. "Now it can't be that bad, dear. We just checked you out a few months ago," he cajoled.

A couple of days after the procedure, my doctor sauntered into my hospital room with a conciliatory grin on his face. "Gee" he drawled apologetically, "we had no idea anything like this was going to happen. Your ovary looked horrible- engorged to the size of a grapefruit. No wonder you were hurting. Sorry you had to go so long without help but, you know, the tests just never turned up anything. And oh, by the way, the pathologist found a little endometriosis in your right ovary."

Endometriosis is an "incurable" woman's disease in which uterine tissue for some unknown reason detaches itself from the uterus, moves to other locations in the body and attaches itself to other organs or body tissue. This misplaced uterine tissue spontaneously bleeds in response to hormonal changes, causing internal bleeding, scarring and often excruciating pain that can destroy the woman's ability to live and function normally. This disease is not uncommon among woman, but it is incurable, at least by conventional medical standards.

My "little" endometriosis turned into the monster that ate Tokyo. Three months after my doctor had 'successfully' operated, I was again sitting in the ultrasound room at the hospital, watching as several new endometrial tumours appeared on the monitor screen, accompanied by the usual excruciating pelvic pain, internal bleeding, constipation, haemorrhagic cystitis and acute exhaustion.

After the ultrasound I decided to contact a doctor who was recommended to me as an expert on endometriosis. He told me that he felt that my health problems had originally stemmed from undiagnosed severe endometriosis and an underactive thyroid which had probably been present since adolescence. He recommended an immediate hysterectomy, which I underwent. The day after the operation, the doctor visited me and compassionately whispered that I would "never have a problem with endometriosis again". But he was wrong.

Twenty months later, I had more tumours and another operation. Three months after that, the pain, tumours and internal bleeding reappeared and I was scheduled for what would by now have been my sixth surgical procedure in five years-which I refused to undergo.

Desperate and seriously debilitated, I flew to Mexico where I spent $15,000 on an intensive course of intravenous megavitamin and live-cell therapy at one of the alternative cancer clinics which had offered some hope for my case. For weeks, doctor's poured nutrients and natural medicines into my veins and mouth. I watched as many of the cancer patients around me seemed to get better and better with the treatments. And I did, too-for about two months.

I spent my 40th birthday hopelessly sick and in bed, which was where I stayed that entire year. The drugs, operations and Mexican treatments had completely failed, and my usual herbs and homoeopathic remedies, although they gave temporary relief, seemed almost useless against the disease. And by now, even though I had health insurance, my husband and I had spent over $100,000 of our own money, and still I couldn't even get out of bed.

I had one last surgery which removed another large bleeding tumour. When I got home from the hospital I weighed 89 pounds and developed a post-surgical infection which required several courses of antibiotics, After taking the antibiotics, I developed an extremely severe case of Candida (yeast infection). My hands and arms became covered with a horribly itchy fungal infection that nothing could relieve or cure, and I remained generally exhausted, bedridden and in intense pain.

Because of the surgeries, I was also experiencing early and severe menopausal symptoms: hot flushes, mood swings, water retention and depression. But because endometriosis is exacerbated by oestrogen, my doctor recommended that I refrain from taking oestrogen supplements which she said would have relieved the severe and very unpleasant symptoms.

Several months after the surgery, the all-too-familiar endometrial symptoms returned. My doctor assured me that all was well, but when I asked for and received my surgical records from the hospital I found she had written that "all attempts to remove endometriosis will be done, but complete surgical care can rarely be guaranteed; the patient may require further therapy for endometriosis, medically or surgically". For my exhausted and bewildered husband and myself, this prognosis seemed like an insurmountable and final defeat.

I had one more heart-to-heart talk with a gynaecologist who told me, "Given the severity of your case, the reality is that you could be facing a lifetime of corrective surgery." Given the state of my health at the time, I couldn't envision that "lifetime" meant anything more for me than a few additional years of mind-numbing pain and misery before my body finally gave out

After nearly a lifetime of illness, these last episodes inmy late thirties and early forties seemed like the final blow, and in all honesty I felt that there was no way out and no hope in sight. No matter how many times I'd been assured by my doctors that drugs and surgery would cure the endometriosis and my other disorders and make it possible for me to live a normal life, the doctors had been proven wrong.

A few weeks later when I heard that one of my friends from the cancer clinic had died in his sleep, I felt sad for his family but happy for him because he was finally free of his pain and suffering. In many ways I felt that he was the lucky one and I almost wished that the same thing would happen to me. It seemed that death would have been a blessing, especially so that my family could be freed from the seemingly never-ending burden of my illness and be able to get on with their lives.

Sitting alone and discouraged one morning, I glanced up dismally from a book I was reading when my husband came into the room. "I've got something else we can try, honey," he chirped enthusiastically, and proceeded to describe his conversation with a woman who had cured herself of a serious and reportedly incurable kidney disorder by using an unusual therapy was. "I don't think so," I said, and went back to reading my book

But after several more days and many more horrible episodes of pain and drugs, my husband handed me a small book and said, "You've got to try this." I picked up the book and began to read.

The therapy seemed incredibly effective, yet I still felt reluctant to try it. This is a fact that probably none of you without a medical background knows, but the reality is that urine is absolutely vital to your body's functioning, and the internal and external applications of urine have proven medical ramifications far beyond anything that we, the general public, can imagine.

What amazes people most when they first hear about the medical use of urine is that they've never heard of it before. To the vast majority of mankind, urine is nothing more than a somewhat repugnant 'waste' that the body has to excrete in order to function.

Urine is not a waste product of the body. One of the first things we need to clear up is the common perception of urine. Urine is not what you think it is. As a matter of fact, you probably have no idea what urine is or how your body makes it.

In reality, urine is not, as most of us believe, the excess water from food and liquids that goes through the intestines and is ejected from the body. I know that we generally think of urine in just this way: you eat and drink, the intestines 'wring' out the good stuff in the food, and the urine is the leftover, dirty, waste water that your body doesn't want, so it should never, ever be reintroduced into the body in any from-right? Wrong.

No matter how popular a conception, this commonly shared scenario may be, it just isn't true. Urine is not made in your intestines. Urine is made in and by your kidneys. So what does this mean, and why should it change the way you feel about urine?

In layman's language, this is how and why urine is made in the body. When you eat, the food you ingest is eventually broken down in the stomach and intestines into extremely small molecules. These molecules are absorbed into tiny tubules in the intestinal wall and then pass through these tubes into the bloodstream.

The blood circulates throughout your body, carrying these food molecules and other nutrients along with critical immune-defence and regulating elements such as red and white blood cells, antibiotics, plasma, microscopic proteins, hormones, enzymes, etc., which are all manufactured at different locations in the body.

The blood continually distributes its load of life-sustaining elements throughout the body, nourishing every cell and protecting the body from disease.

As it flows through the body, this nutrient-filled blood passes through the liver where toxins are removed and later excreted from the body in the form of solid waste. Eventually, this purified, 'cleaned' blood makes its way to the kidneys.

When the blood enters the kidneys it is filtered through an immensely complex and intricate system of minute tubules, called nephron, through which the blood is literally 'squeezed' at high pressure. This filtering process removes excess amounts of water, salts and other elements in the blood that your body does not need at the time.

These excess elements are collected within the kidneys in the form of a purified, sterile, watery solution called urine, Many of the constituents of this filtered watery solutions, or urine, are then re-absorbed by the nephron and delivered back into the bladder and is then excreted from the body.

So, you say, the body's gotten rid of this stuff for a reason-so why would we want to use it again? And here's the catch. The function of the kidneys is to keep the various elements in your blood balanced. The kidneys do not filter out important elements in the blood because those elements in themselves are toxic or poisonous or bad for the body, but simply because the body did not need that particular concentration of that element at the time it was excreted.

Medical researchers have discovered that many of the elements of the blood that are found in urine have enormous medicinal value, and when they are reintroduced into the body they boost the body's immune defences and stimulate healing in a way that nothing else does.

For instance, the kidneys filter out water and sodium from the blood into the urine. These are both vital life-sustaining elements without which your body cannot functions. But both elements could be lethal if there were too much water or sodium in your blood.

Now what about potassium, calcium and magnesium? These are familiar nutrients that we ingest in our food and vitamin pills every day, but they're also in your urine. These nutritional elements are extremely valuable substances to the body, certainly not toxic, and yet the kidney excretes these elements into the urine. Why? Because it's taking out the excess amounts of potassium, calcium, etc. that are not needed by your body at the time they are filtered out. Actually, it is this regulating process of the kidneys and the excretion of urine that allows us to eat and drink more than our bodies need at any one time.

Ironically, this enterprise evolved from Porta-John's attempt to get rid of urine proteins-a major source of odor on portable toilets. "When the president of Porta-John began consulting with scientists about a urine filtration system, one told him he was sitting on a gold mine.

"The idea of recycling urine is not new, however. 'We thought about this,' says Phillip Whitcome of Amgen, a Los Angeles biotechnology firm, 'but realized we'd need thousands and thousands of litres of urine .

"Porta-John and Enzymes of America solved that problem. The 14 million gallons flowing annually into Porta-John's privies contain about fourand-a-half pounds of urokinase alone. That's enough to unclog 260,000 coronary arteries."

But urokinase isn,t the only drug derived from urine that, unknown to us, has been a financial boon to the pharmaceutical industry.

In August of 1993, Forbes magazine printed an article about Fabio Bertarelli who owns the world's largest fertility-drug-producing company, the Ares-Serono Group,based in Geneva, whose most important product is the drug Pergonal which increases the chances of conception. Guess what Pergonal is made from?

To make Pergonal, Ares-Serono collects urine samples from 110,000 postmenopausal woman volunteers in Italy, Spain, Brazil and Argentina. From 26 collection centres, the urine is sent Rome where Ares-Serono technicians then isolate the ovulation-enhancing hormone."

Ares-Serono earned a reported $855 million in sales in 1992 and people pay up to $1,400 per month for this urine extract.

Obviously, most of us are operating under a gross misconception when we wrinkle our nose at the thought of using urine in medicine.

Urea, the principle organic solid in urine, has long been considered to be a 'waste product' of the body. It's even been considered to be dangerous or poisonous, but this, too, is completely untrue.

Like any other substance in the body, too much urea can be harmful, but urea in and of itself is enormously valuable and indispensable to body functioning. Not only does urea provide invaluable nitrogen to the body, but research has shown that urea actually aids in the synthesis of protein, or, in other words, it helps our bodies use protein more efficiently. Urea has also been proven to be an extraordinary antibacterial and antiviral agent and is one of the best natural diuretics ever discovered.

Urea was discovered and isolated as long ago as 1773 and is currently marketed in a variety of different drug forms.

These are a few more examples of commercial medical applications of urine and urea in use today:

*Ureaphil: diuretic made from urea
*Urofollitropin: urine-extract fertility drug
* Ureacin: urea cream for skin problems
* Amino-Cerv: urea cream used for cervical treatments
* Premarin: urine-extract oestrogen supplement
* Panafil: urea/papain ointment for skin ulcers, burns and infected wounds.

Another urine-related product ingredient is carbamide. Carbamide is the chemical name for synthesised urea. Where do you find carbamide? In places you'd never thought of, such as in products like Murine Ear Drops and Murine Ear Wax Removal System which contain carbamide peroxide, a combination of synthetic urea and hydrogen peroxide.

Medical researchers have also proven that urea is one of the best and only medically proven, effective skin moisturisers in the world. In many years of laboratory studies, researchers discovered that, unlike just about all other types of oil-based moisturisers that simply sit on the top layers of the skin and do nothing to improve water retention within skin cells (which gives skin its elasticity and wrinkle-free appearance), urea actually increases the water-binding capacity of the skin by opening skin layers for hydrogen bonding, which then attracts moisture to dry skin cells.

This is a remarkable fact considering that women spend billions of dollars a year on outrageously expensive skin moisturisers whose ingredients, even in tightly controlled double-blind comparison tests, don't even come close to hydrating dry skin as well as simple, inexpensive urea.

So, as surprising as it seems, urine and urea do have an amazing, voluminous history in both traditional and modern medicine.

An article, titled "Autourotherapy", published in the New York State Journal of Medicine ( vol. 80, no. 7, June 1980), written by Dr. John R. Herman, Clinical Professor of Urology at Albert Einstein College of medicine in New York City, Points out the general misconceptions regarding urine and its medical use:

"Autouropathy (urine therapy) did flourish in many parts of the world and it continues to flourish today... There is, unknown to most of us, a wide usage of uropathy and a great volume of knowledge available showing the multitudinous advantages of this modality...

Urine is only a derivative of the blood... If the blood should not be considered 'unclean ', then the urine also should not be so considered. Normally excreted, urine is a fluid of tremendous variations of composition...

"...Actually, the listed constituents of human urine can be carefully checked and no items not found in human diet are found in it. Percentages differ' of course, but urinary constituents are valuable to human metabolism..."

Look up urea in a medical dictionary. In Mosby's Medical and Nursing Dictionary, urea is defined not as a useless body waste but as a systemic diuretic and topical skin treatment. It's also prescribed to reduce excess fluid pressure on the brain and eyes.

Uric acid, another ingredient of urine, is normally thought of as an undesirable waste product of the body that causes gout. But even uric acid has recently been found to have tremendous health-promotion and medical implications.

Medical researchers at the University of California at Berkeley reported in 1982 that they have discovered that:

"Uric acid could be a defence against cancer and ageing.

"It also destroys body-damaging chemicals, called free radicals, that are present in food, water and air and are considered to be a cause of cancer and breakdowns in immune function.

Uric acid could be one of the things that enables human beings to live so much longer than other mammals."

Urine is a critically important body fluid that has fascinated medical science throughout the centuries. Medical scientists study urine with tremendous intent because, unlike the public, they know that it contains innumerable vital body nutrients and thousands of natural elements that control and regulate every function of the body.

So, whether we know it or not, urine does have an extremely important and undisputed place in medicine-and not just as a diagnostic tool or as an ingredient of various synthetic drugs.

Your first reaction once you've read the convincing research demonstrating urine's often startling medical uses may be a willingness to use it as long as it's altered enough to make it unrecognisable. On the other hand, in almost 100 years of laboratory and clinical studies on the use of natural urine and simple urea in medicine, extraordinary results have been obtained, but no toxic or dangerous side-effects to the user have ever been observed or reported by either researchers or patients using the therapy.

As we've learned, urea, which is the principal solid ingredient of urine, has been synthesised and medically used with excellent results and with no side-effects. Thoughts of our origins and the purpose of our existence most often occur in that brief moment before we slide into sleep state. When our day's work is done, we watch the six o'clock news and grow weary from too much television. When the world finally stopped spinning and all I held dear was gone-marriage, wealth, properties, income and, most of all my self-worth-it was time to look for another meaning; not, I hasten to add, the ritualism of modern religions or the zealous fanaticism of the newborn breed. My years of calculated commercialism left me with a permanent factual attitude to life, so I needed proof in cold hard facts to support any new beliefs.

I have been given the opportunity to observe, at first hand, irrefutable proof of the reason for our existence. The contents of this book are based on my personal observations.

Where we came from and where we are going are difficult questions to contemplate in our modern-day rush for financial survival. That bedlam between the Corn Flakes and the six o'clock news does not provide much time for concerted thought. It takes time, quite time, and lots of it. What I saw astounded me, as it astounds countless thousands of first-timers. I saw Raul rise from his wheelchair, after fifty years as a paraplegic, and walk. Still reeling from disbelief, my incredulity received a coup de grace when I witnessed a tumour removal from a woman's eye by a blindfolded Joao, using only a kitchen knife.

Now, having observed countless operations, healings and cures, including my own lifelong affliction of chronic asthma, I am converting those energies I wasted on scepticism and false sophistication to this simple chronicle of a man's dedication to humanity, of a scale and sincerity that defies our western logic. We all need proof as a means of verification, but sometimes, even when we see the evidence, we still find it difficult to accept because its comprehension is contrary to our western upbringing. Such is the situation with the cures of Joao Teixeira da Faria.

Joao is a humble man who has a twofold purpose in life: to heal the sick; and to make people aware that we are here on Earth to improve our level on the 'other side', to elevate and better the position of our souls in the hereafter by what we do in this physical life.

Although Joao is probably the most observed, recorded and tested healing medium ever to enter this physical world, it is difficult for even the most dedicated author to compile a logical record of his life. Information about his early life is scant. As a youth he was more occupied with daily survival than recording dates and occurrences. Even simple, chronoiogical compilation of events in correct years of occurrence is a frustrating endeavour. There are no records save those in the memories of his associates, and they differ widely.

Joao himself is a poor source of precise details because he remembers nothing of his actions whilst incorporated by spirit, and even when he is disincorporated he is still partially under their controlling guidance. We humans are strange creatures. Joao Teixeira da Faria is arguably the most powerful medium alive at this time and must surely rank amongst the greatest of the past two thousand years.

A "medium", as defined by the Oxford Dictionary, is a person who is "a spiritual intermediary between the living and the dead". Joao not only communicates with spirit, he incorporates the spirit entity; he is literally taken over by the spirit and, in doing so, loses consciousness, 'waking' a few hours later without any knowledge of his actions during the incorporation. 3) Free will is the only means by which the physical you, and subsequently your soul, can improve its position after your demise.

4) Karma is the means by which you will pay your debt for wrongdoings or be rewarded for your free-will choice of good in each life. If you have killed, stolen, lied or cheated in a past life, chances are that you will be suffering some malady or conflict in your current life. Conversely, if you have been caring, considerate, honest and moral, then your soul will have elevated and you will probably be a healthy, well-balanced person.

5) There is a spirit world! It is much more complex than our physical world. It is much more powerful and decidedly more beautiful for those who have earned a place in it. It is multi-levelled and multidimensional, to cater for the infinitre number of development stages through which souls pass. Of over 150 out-of-body, near-death experiences surveyed by Kenneth Ring (author of Heading Towards Omega: In Search of the Meanings of Near-Death Experience), all reported similar observation, feeling and experiences to support this belief.

6) Spirits, both good and bad, are with us all the time. So many of those strange coincidences we experience (usually when we most earnestly wish for them) are the result of thought generation picked up by and acted upon by your guides. It adds new meaning to the biblical quotation, "Ask and ye shall receive".

7) Our human bodies are generated from and protected by energy fields. There are seven corresponding layers, each with its own density or frequency, and seven major chakras (spinning vortexes). Some people can actually see these layers as auras. If we live healthy, clean lives, our energy fields product us very well. THE MAN IN A WHEELCHAIR
Today was special for Raul Natal. Sitting in the wheelchair, which served as both his prison and his mobility for the past fifty years, he waited with apprehension and hope. He dare not raise his expectations too high: he had been to so many doctors and specialists over those long years. He had been X-rayed, tested, probed, manipulated and medicated without success until the doctors and he had finally resigned themselves to the fact that he would never walk again. Why would today be any different?

Raul heard about the healer, Joao Teixeira da Faria, from friends. "He has cured hundreds of thousands of sick and crippled," they said. "Perhaps he could help you, too," they encouraged. What did he have to lose? And so, in a final desperate pilgrimage, he endured the thirty-six-hour bus trip from Sao Paulo to the small village of Abadiania, high on the green plateaus of Goias state in central Brazil.

It was 8.15 am on a clear day blessed with the cool crispness of high mountain air. People seeking treatment -already 500 or 600-were packed into the main hall of the centre, waiting quietly, each with his own thoughts and hopes, watching for the healer Joao to appear.

From his waiting position at the front of the crowd, Raul saw the medium enter from a side door, hands clasped in front of his body, eyes intense. Joao took a middle-aged woman by the hand and stood her against the wall. Rummaging through one of the instrument trays carried by a volunteer, he selected a common kitchen knife and skilfully began to scrape a tumour from her eye. Without anaesthetic or sterilisation, and using only the crude knife, he scraped away at the eyeball-a procedure which would normally cause excruciating pain and irreparable damage-but the woman showed no external discomfort. She remained calm, standing against the wall without any observable reaction. Joao did not really seem to be concentrating. His hand swept the blade skilfully back and forth across the cornea, but his eyes were focused out into the crowd, searching and scanning. It was as if someone or something other than he was removing the growth. In less than a minute, he wiped the blade across her blouse and called to an assistant, "You can take her away; she is finished."

Raul's mind raced in disbelief. His heart beat faster and his hands began to sweat. Could it be possible after all these years that he might walk again?

A man was led forward from the crowd and instructed to face the wall. He told the healer that he had not been able to sit or bend without pain for years. Gently Joao removed the man's shirt and, taking a scalpel, a small one-inch incision between his shoulder blades. Incredibly, there was no bleeding and the man showed no sign of pen. "Lift your leg," said Joao. "Now bend over." Raul started in disbelief as the man bent over and touched his toes. "Now squat down," said the healer, and the man obliged effortlessly. The tears of relief and gratitude streaming down his face did not escape Raul's observation as the man was led away to the recovery room at the end of the hall. Raul's expectations were rising: perhaps his dreams might yet be fulfilled.

Joao was already turning his attention to a woman with cancer of the stomach. He unbuttoned her blouse, slowly, as if in a trance, and lowered her waistband to expose her lower abdomen. From an assistant's tray he selected a scalpel and slowly made a small incision three centimetres long. It did not bleed and the woman seemed unperturbed. He cut more deeply and inserted two fingers into the opening. Raul's, from his front-row position, saw the healer withdraw his fingers and, with them, a soft white growth the size of a golf ball. The woman remained motionless with no apparent discomfort. All of this, he noticed, was without anaesthetic or the stringent sterilisation of modern medical practices with which he was so familiar. The wound was stitched with a single suture and the woman led away to the recovery room.

Another paraplegic in a wheelchair was now pushed forward. This would be indicative: if this man were healed, there would certainly be hope for Raul. When Joao told the helpers to wheel the man away to the Intensive Treatment Room, Raul's fragile confidence sank to an all-time low. Perhaps it was too much to ask after all.

No time to think now. Joao's voice jolted him back to reality.

"How long have you been paralysed?" Joao inquired in a deep, compassionate voice.

"I have not walked for fifty years," replied Raul in little more than a whisper.

"What would you do if God gave you back your legs?" asked the medium.

Raul was too stunned to answer. Short-term confidence fought with years of despair. His mind raced. Could it be possible? Why would he ask if it were not? Surely it would be a cruel joke if he were not serious. He looked at the healer; his eyes were steady and he wore a confident, almost boyish smile. Raul wanted to speak but the words would not come. He knew his joints were seized from years of inactivity; they were calcified and immovable and his muscles atrophied.

"What would you do if God gave you back your legs?" asked Joao again, interrupting his racing thoughts.

Raul did not know what to say. He was still fighting with reason and logic. A kindly hand from behind touched his shoulder.

"Answer him! How would you feel if you could walk again?" prompted the assistant.

All he could do was stutter, "Id...be...so very happy."

The healer bent down and briefly took hold of Raul's left ankle. As he did so, a warm surge of life swept through the leg. "Now rotate it!" he said. Raul obliged. It had been seized for as long as he could remember and now he was turning and twisting it! He watched in disbelief as Joao touched the other ankle and the same warmth engulfed it. It was like watching someone else's foot turning. It was unbelievable!

"Now," commanded the healer, "stand up and walk!"

Raul froze. "I can't!" he said.

"Yes you can!" replied Joao with firm compassion. "Stand up and put this fool forward," he said, pointing to the night foot.

With all his will and strength, Raul lunged forward from the chair. His legs held; shaking, but they held. Joao took his hand, offering minimal support as he took his first steps in fifty years. His heart was beating so fast he feared it would seize. The happiness and relief were too much for him. An uncontrollable flood of tears poured down his face. He was walking!

Assistants led him away slowly to the man operation room where he sat on a bench with another twenty or so patients. A kindly silver-haired man, dressed in white, talked to them of faith and love and how the healings were not the most important gift here. A greater gift is the awakening. the realisation that there is a life after death and that this physical life is just an opportunity for us to improve and elevate our souls. The healings are just a physical demonstration that we can see and experience, but more importantly we must remember that the miracles are performed by spirit entities who use the medium Joao Teixeira da Faria as a vessel to perform their work.

Raul listened and realised his life would not only be more active but more meaningful from this day on. He had been healed by the entities and the man they call John of God.

THE HOUSE OF DOM INACIO
They come in their thousands-the sick, the lame, the incurable and the medically discarded-enduring long international flights and gruelling thirty-five hour bus trips to a small village high on the Goias plateau of Brazil. Buses arrive all through the night.

At 5.00 am it is still. A low mist blankets the small one-street town of Abadiania which has sprung up to cater for the multitudes who plgrimage here. People sit outside the simple lodging houses, talking softly. There are not enough rooms to cater for them all, so they sleep in cars or buses or simply stand around waiting for the dawn. The lodging houses provide free coffee for the weary travellers who spill from the newly arrived buses all through the night. One hundred metres down the road, the place they call "the House of Dom Inacio". Dawn will bring new light and hope for a life without pain or illness for those who seek it.

The healing centre opens at 8.00 am. The sick congregate to collect their queuing numbers. Cameramen prepare their equipment for filming the day's activity.

Somewhere in an unmarked room. Joao resets and meditates alone in preparation for a day of healing. He will work until the last patient is attended to, sometimes far into the night. He lies on a simple couch in the semi-darkened room. Above his head hand pictures of some of the entities, including Dom Inacio, as well as Christ and the Madonna. On the adjacent wall hang a dozen or more certificates of appreciation, orders of government and honorary degrees bestowed upon him by grateful VIPs, governments and institutions. Amongst them is a medal of Honour from the president of Peru [Alberto Fujimori] in gratitude for healing his son. The basic furnishings reflect the simplicity of the man the people call John of God.

The centre resembles a small hospital, painted stark white inside and out, and with a sky blue band from floor to waist height internally. The design was supplied to Joaoby his principal entity, Dom Inacio, in a vision he received whilst walking through a small valley nearby. The centre, affectionately called "the HOUse", is named after this entity and is known in Brazil as "Casade Dom Inacio" (the House of Dom Inacio).

The choice of site is due to many things: the natural energy of this part of Brazil, the peace and quiet, and a massive outcrop of natural quartz which in itself provides a powerful energy source. Deep below there is a natural spring which flows to a small waterfall a kilometre away. Around this natural beauty grow many of the herbs necessary for the herbal cures prescribed by the entities. Situated on a high plateau, the centre looks out across the lush, sweeping hills of Goias, a therapeutic sight in itself.

The location is one of intense energies, the understanding of which is almost beyond our physically comprehension. The best explanation comes from spirit itself, from a spirit called seth, in information channelled by Jane Roberts in the 1970s. From her book, Seth Speaks: The Eternal Validity of the Soul, comes the following information:

"There are main co-ordinate points, sources of fantastic energy, where health and vitality are strengthened. These points are like invisible power plants. They act as psychic generators, propelling what is not yet physical into physical form." I believe the centre at Abadiania is one such location.

The House itself is designed around a central hall, open at one end, leading out to a covered walkway, toilet and rose garden. In this hall people congregate, waiting to witness the physical surgery by Joao-in-entity which occurs twice each day. All of these operations are videotaped by the house cameraman.

Some years ago Joao requested the taping of the operations he performed 'in entity' because he had no recollection of his actions once he incorporated the spirit entity. There are now thousands of hours of video records freely available to anyone at a modest charge to cover production.

In a semi-circle around the hall are four principal rooms. The first is the recovery rooms where patients are taken after treatment for care and observation until they are strong enough to leave. The effect of the anaesthetic, supplied by spirit, wears off in an hour or two and the patients are normally able to leave of their own accord without any visible side-effects. The recovery room contains twelve single beds covered in clean white sheets. The nurses are all volunteers who provide compassionate care until the patients are able to leave.

Next door is one of two "current rooms" fitted with rows of bench seats with a walkway through the middle. In this room, dressed in white,sit twenty to thirty mediums in meditation. This meditation provides the current to assist the entities in their work. Interestingly, in the Edgar Cayce readings on Atlantis, there is a reference to this type combined energy used by the Atlantians to achieve their extraordinarily advanced civilisation; a similar production of spiritual current. The people who queue to consult with the entity file through this room and, as they do so, they receive a spiritual cleansing. In two corners there are piles of crutches, wheelchairs and body braces discarded by healed invalids-a silent monument to the success of the man and his entities in their healing work.

The second current room contains fifty or more mediums similarly seated in rows. The endless line of people pass through the middle and are spiritually prepared to meet Joao-in -entity who sits at the far end in a large chair covered in white linen. At the moment of meeting there is a split-second recognition by the entity of each person's 'blueprint': past lives, current situation, illness and spiritual awareness.

Depending on what is seen, the person will be dealt with according to the requirement. Some are given herbal prescriptions. Some are sent to the intensive care room for surgery or treatment at a later time. Those who need spiritual strength may be told to sit in current, whilst others are given concise instructions on necessary life changes. Each person is dealt with in less than twenty seconds. The prescriptions are written at lightning speed in a 'spirit shorthand' which looks like a squiggly line and a few ticks. The pharmacists of the House have been taught to understand these 'hieroglyphs' by the entities who prescribe them.

The third room is the intensive operations room which has a dual purpose; very serious cases requiring a long time in coma and those who request invisible operations. Around the wall is a line of single beds on which the intensive patients lie whilst the entities perform operations invisibly on paraplegics and on leukaemia, AIDS and serious cancer patients. They may be in a coma for a few hours or a few days depending on the extent of treatment required.

Across the middle of the room are rows of benches on which those requiring invisible operations sit, eyes closed, hands resting on their laps in meditation. A medium talks quietly to them, explaining the procedure and raising their spiritual attunement. Twice a day, Joao-in-entity will enter the room and declare, "In the name of Jesus Christ you are all cured. Let what needs to be done be done in the name of God." At this time, all operations necessary are completed internally, without visible surface scars. Scientific teams have found by X-rays, following these invisible operations, that there are incisions and stitches internally. In this room sit twelve special healing mediums.

There are a number of peripheral buildings and a kitchen house where thousands of plates of soup and bread are served each day, free of charge, to those who come to the centre. Many have travelled thousands of kilometres and some are so poor they cannot afford to buy food. The House takes care of everybody in like manner. There is a small coffee house, administrative offices, a large toilet block and a pharmacy for preparation of herbal medicine. The whole cluster of buildings is contained within a fenced compound which provides parking for dozens of buses on one side and a shaded garden area on the other for quiet relaxation in the fresh mountain air.

Procedures of the House

The centre opens each Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. At 8.00 am people receive a short talk on the procedures and are asked to line up according to their preferred treatment: visible operation, invisible operation, first time or repeat treatment. Those for invisible operations are taken to the intensive operations room for preparation. Those for visible operation are led to the main current room to meditate for half an hour before being taken to the main hall for their physical surgery. This will depend to some degree on which entity is incorporated, as each has its own surgical specialities.

Joao meditates in a small room at the rear of the complex before entering the main current room. To incorporate the spirit entity the simply stands before a table containing a wooden cross. He begins by asking that his hands be guided in the work of the day. Then, as he recites the Lord's Prayer, the entity enters him and takes control of his body. He takes some of those waiting for physical operations by the hand and leads them to the main hall where he begins. These visible surgeries are performed in front of the people waiting to consult the entity.

Apart from the primary objective of alleviating the suffering of disease or maladies., these demonstrations serve to prove the existence of the spirit world and the delivery of spirit healing through the Christ energy. In addition, they raise the level of belief and attunement within each person.

The healing and surgery is interspersed with asides to people in the crowd, as the entity sees or reads the blueprint of each individual, sometimes with spiritual advice, a suggestion to change eating habits, or even a stern warning to change immoral behaviour.

Often he will point to someone and direct him to go and sit in current. This could be for the healing benefits of the current or because the person needs to meditate and raise his spiritual awareness before healing, or it could be because the person is recognised as a medium capable of generation powerful current. All of these events are videotaped by the House and a souvenir for the recipient of the cure.

Joao-in-entity begins each session in the intensive operations room where he separates and prepares those who wish to be operated on visibly. He then turns his attention to the rows of people waiting in meditation for invisible operations In one brief statement he calls for the operations to be completed. Some recipients feel the operations and others do not, but they are all completed immediately.

Joao-in-entity then takes the line of people waiting for visible operations into the main hall for physical surgery in front of the waiting crowd. When they are completed he returns to the main current room where he sits to receive the people as they file past him.

He dispenses with each person in an amazingly fast manner. As they approach, the entity instantly scans and is already prepared to provide the necessary advice. Some are given a prescription for herbal medicine, some are directed to the seats nearby to give current, whilst others are directed to the intensive care room for invisible surgery or, if their surgery requires a different entity, they will be told when to return for treatment. He will remain until the last person is attended to.

At the end of the daily program, Joao-in-entity will individually receive each of the mediums-all of whom have sat for many hours providing current-for a blessing and to attend to any special requests they may have. He then stands up, begins a small prayer and the entity leaves his body with a visible shudder of his heavy frame.
